Alan’s first experience of export marketing was travelling throughout Southeast Asia and the Far East as a product specialist for Wiggins Teape Ltd, a paper company. As Sales and Marketing Director for Thames Board Ltd, Unilever he managed a team of sales agents throughout the world. He has also chaired an International Charity based in London and India for many years.

In the last ten years, he has combined his interest in Internet technology with his extensive sales and marketing experience to build up Metafocus, a global online marketing company in the Lace Market, Nottingham.
