John Owens is a director of 360e Ltd, based in Lincoln, alongside his business partner Sue Gordon (also an eBusiness Club trainer and expert). Formed in 2004, 360e Ltd specialises in IT & E-Business consultancy, project management and training.

John has had a broad range of experience, having worked for Business Link for 10 years as the senior ICT & E-Business Adviser. Previously, he worked in the mainstream IT industry for 15 years in a variety of roles with a broad range of clients, from blue-chip companies to business start ups.

Formally qualified in PRINCE2 tm project management, John also has a Masters in Business Administration degree (MBA) from the Open University. He has also been a full Member of the Institute of Business Advisers (MIBA) for several years.

He’s worked with many East Midlands and other firms, helping them to gain real strategic and operational business benefits from their usage of the web and ICT. His particular areas of expertise cover business and e-business strategy development, web development, e-Commerce, project management and training.

As an additional area of expertise, he has been particularly interested in working with firms within the creative sector, helping them to develop. John lives in Lincoln with his partner.
