Nottingham Arena Becomes A Hotspot
Nottingham Arena is taking a step into the future next week by becoming a BT Openzone Hotspot.
We are one of the first Arena’s in the UK to become an Openzone site and it will give us a comprehensive coverage throughout the whole Arena.
This means that you can sit anywhere in our building - from rink side to backstage - and log onto the internet or check your emails without even having to plug your laptop in. You’ll be connected to the World Wide Web at broadband speed.
Geoff Huckstep, Chief Executive at Nottingham Arena said: “At Nottingham Arena we know that communication is a key to business success and staying in touch means staying ahead.
“We are proud to be at the forefront of new technology and will continue to innovate and provide new services to our customers and partners wherever we can.
“This is a benefit not just to us, or our customers but for the wider community. It will allow us to attract more business to the city through large scale conferences and events and in fact some companies will only hold meetings at venues that are BT Openzones.”
You’ll be able to identify the Arena as an Openzone by distinctive signs that are going up around the building. You’ll also be able to buy vouchers from the Box Office to get access to the web.
