Setting up a Wireless Office

A wireless office doesn’t just mean the end of expensive computer cabling. A wireless office also means your staff can work anywhere they need to be in your office, not just at their desks. If your business is growing, you can quickly and inexpensively add new computers to your network or move computers around the building.

You probably have lots of questions. How do I choose the right wireless equipment? What options do I have for connecting my computers, printers, and sharing our Internet access? How do I keep my wireless LAN secure? And how much should all of this cost?

This half day Technology Taster is designed to let you roll up your sleeves and see the equipment at work, give you the chance to discuss the issues you need to know about working with a wireless network, and provide you with the knowledge you need to work more efficiently.

Who should attend?

Company owners, managers, and staff responsible for managing their office network will find this workshop useful. If you want to know more about the many technologies available for wireless networking, the benefits it can bring your business, and the practical know-how to set your own wireless network up, then this is the workshop for you.
