Business Link eBusiness Programme
The eBusiness programme is funded by the East Midlands Development Agency and European Regional Development fund. The programme is managed by East Midlands Chambers of Commerce and delivered through Business Link.

The Challenge of E-Adoption in the East Midlands
The Challenge of eAdoption in the East Midlands Survey 2009’ will be the fifth in a series of reports that examines and benchmarks the e-adoption practices and integration of processes by small business that are based within the East Midlands region. With each report building on previous year’s findings, survey data has been widely distributed to and utilised by strategic and operational business support partners throughout the region. Serving to inform and identify trends in e-adoption the report has been a valuable resource to those agencies and partners working together to build a flourishing region.
Web Academy
Web Academy is the premier training and mentoring programme designed to assist East Midlands companies in delivering real business improvement through web technology.
Lincolnshire Broadband Initiative
The Lincolnshire Broadband Initiative aims to help local small and medium sized businesses to gain connection to broadband and make the most of the possibilities that this offers.
Derbyshire Well Connected
Derbyshire WellConnected, funded by Derby and Derbyshire Economic Partnership (DDEP) and supported by Business Link, is a new campaign to help businesses of all types and sizes exploit broadband and other forms of information technology.
The campaign includes an advice-line and website: www.derbyshire-wellconnected.co.uk, and in addition events throughout the year will be designed to help Derbyshire become better connected. The ultimate aim of Derbyshire Well Connected campaign is to ensure that Derbyshire is geared up for economic success.
The most recent E-Adoption Survey carried out by EMDA revealed that 60% of businesses in the East Midlands that already sell online, expect their sales to increase over the next 12 months and in 9 out of 10 sectors, more than 50% of recent process innovations were linked to ICT. DDEP is encouraging businesses all across Derbyshire large or small to visit the website or call the advice-line to explore how broadband and communications technology
