He is also involved with hands on software related training and specifying systems.

Alan is a Director and entrepreneur who, in a varied career, has travelled the world as a packaging specialist, expanded a Unilever paper mill, built up his own printing factory and owned an advertising agency. His recent passion for the transformational potential of Information and Communications Technology led him to set up Nottingham based new media and marketing agency Metafocus. They specialise in helping businesses grow through creative visual communications and better use of the Internet.
