Digital Derbyshire Conference & Expo

The Chamber’s eBusiness Club and Derbyshire County Council welcomed over 150 delegates to The Pavilion Gardens in Buxton on the 16th April at the Digital Derbyshire Conference and Expo.  This highly respected online marketing event featured presentations from leading professionals, including how to grow a successful business in a rural location, digital marketing strategies, top tips for social media and an update from Derbyshire County Council on the role of out of Superfast broadband across the county.

Delegates had the opportunity to ask the Council representatives, Frank Horsley, Head of Economic Regeneration and Richard Lundie – Sadd, Digital Derbyshire Programme Manager questions about the challenges that businesses are encountering due to the internet coverage in Derbyshire and how they will be resolved as well as specific online marketing questions directed at our panel of experts.

The responses we had from delegates about the success of the event were great and we are hoping that we can continue the partnership with Derbyshire County Council in providing free workshops and events on behalf of the Digital Derbyshire project. Similar events will be organised for Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire later in the year.

The combined presentations from the conference can be viewed here.
