 Montage LLEP Conference 19

More than 300 delegates attended the Leicestershire Digital Conference 19 at Leicester Racecourse, Thursday 11 April 2019. If you missed it here are some of the highlights.

Managed by East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) and delivered in partnership with Leicestershire County Council's Superfast Leicestershire project, this fully-funded Conference was held to support businesses across Leicester and Leicestershire make the most of the very latest digital technologies and to share the programme's achievements.

The Conference showcased the milestones and successes of the programme and by the end of June 2019, more than £5.2m will have been invested in Leicester and Leicestershire to help SMEs embrace the digital world.  This has included £268,000 from the Chamber, £100,000 from Leicestershire County Council and £2.6m from the European Regional Development Fund, along with £1.2m of grant funding which was awarded to 122 businesses. This has helped unlock a further £2.25m of private sector investment from SMEs. You can read more about how SMEs have benefitted and the impact of this support in the Celebrating Success brochure.
