The Challenge

As a traditional workshop-based business, it started out selling its products at craft fairs and markets, before moving online. Shop Reddish has established itself in the top seven per cent of worldwide sellers on online marketplace etsy, but wanted to develop its own ecommerce store to broaden its product range and reach, and focus on developing more business to business sales.

Digital Growth Programme Solution
We provided grant funding of £3,500 towards a total project spend of £8,500 for the development of a new ecommerce website, along with the purchase of new computers and software to enhance Shop Reddish’s in-house design capabilities and enable it to develop its core product range.

Owners Netty and Marlene also attended several Digital Growth Programme workshops to develop their digital marketing skills to help better promote the business online and via social media.

The Impact
The app has received thousands of downloads since launch and of the six venues which are using the dashboard, all have been able to improve their customer review scores by quickly acting on the feedback received via the dashboard. The company is currently in discussion with several new venues across the UK about installing the Cleen system.
